At the core of my project, I have a desire to offer practicable advise for the very poorest of people. So there’s space in my garden for dollar store seeds.

At 25 cents per pack, they may seem affordable. However, due to the amount of seeds included in each pack, it may be more cost effective to buy a $1 pack. But, that’s pretty typical for cheap products, and one of the many failings of our current system.

Even so, this may be all that someone can afford. So, can it be that a person can produce enough food to eat with 25 cent seed packs?

That’s the whole idea behind this project.

The garden bed itself will not be amended with anything besides compost made onsite. It will be under the same low tunnel as the Brute Force plot, just by nature of me having three low tunnels. But, starting the seeds early is possible in cheaper options.
